LESSON IV
Exclamatory Sentence

বিস্ময়জ্ঞাপক বাক্য (exclamatory sentence) কে indirect করিতে হইলে said to-স্থানে exclaimed, or অর্থানুযায়ী অন্য কোন ক্রিয়া বসাইতে হয়। অন্যান্য নিয়ম indicative sentence -এর মত। যথা–

D.    He said to the king, “Oh! What a cruel man you are!”

Ind.   He exclaimed in surprise and told the king what a cruel man he was.

এই প্রকার বাক্যের বিশেষ কোন নিয়ম নাই, অর্থানুযায়ী পরিবর্তন হয় এবং তাহা ব্যবহার করিতে করিতে বুঝা যায়।
